The holidays are here!
…Which means you’re throwing your annual holiday party. In between stocking up on wine, beer, food, and snacks, have you thought about what people will drink that’s non-alcoholic? Every holiday party or table needs a non-alcoholic drink that is fun and festive! These infused waters are just as beautiful as they are delicious. They are a natural way to decorate, a fresh sip for those who are not imbibing, and can make a great light mixer for a lighter liquor like vodka or gin!
We used glass flip-top bottles from World Tableware to make these beautiful infused waters. (Call us to order them today!)
Lemon and Mint Infused Water:
For the lemon and mint infused water, simply tear fresh mint leaves from the stem and put them in the glass bottle. In order to get the most mint-y flavor, put the mint leaves in one hand and then clap your hands together. This will activate the oils in the mint and allow them to open up into the water. Then slice one lemon into thin rounds. You will have to fold these or roll them to get them into the bottle. If they are still too big, cut the lemons into thin wedges and feed them in. Then fill the bottle with filtered water and chill until ready to use!
Strawberry and Mint Infused Water:
For this water, use the same steps as you did with the lemon-and-mint water, but use quartered strawberries instead of the lemons. This will give the water a light sweetness while still being light and fresh! This option is also fantastic when made with plain sparkling water.
Cranberry and Rosemary Infused Water:
Follow the same steps as above for this infused water recipe, substituting rosemary twigs (don’t forget to clap!) and fresh cranberries. This is the perfect holiday infused water! Infused with rosemary and tart cranberries, this is sure to be a hit on your holiday table. The rosemary adds earthiness while the cranberries lend a light tartness that can’t be beat. This one is especially delicious if it’s made with sparkling lime water. (Add a lime wedge and a splash of gin for a light holiday cocktail!)
We hope you make these beautiful infused waters for your holiday party this year! They are sure to be a hit with all ages!
