RES to the rescue!
Okay, it’s the day before Thanksgiving. You bought your turkey, you’re brining it in the fridge, you’ve got potatoes and rolls and dressing ready to go. What’s left? You know you’re forgetting something, but you just can’t figure out what it is!
A quick glance into the dining room reminds you: the table!! You can’t just lay some plates out on the table and call it a day! You have to set up a tablescape! Thanksgiving is a tablescape kind of day!
Don’t worry, don’t worry — we are here with a quick, easy, elegant fall tablescape to save your day!
You only need 3 things:
- Linens (any color) (we used old white linen napkins, scrunched end-to-end)
- Greenery and/or small pumpkins and gourds
Lay your linens out end to end along the center of your table. You can crinkle them up a bit to make them look more “natural.” Then take your greenery, fruit, pumpkins, etc. and mix those in. We used dried eucalyptus branches, but you can use greenery from outside! For the pumpkins, we stuck with a neutral, light theme to keep the table light and airy. You can also use persimmons, artichokes, apples, and pomegranates! Add some romance with pretty white pillar candles inside of small glass candle holders — again, light and airy. Then, set out your place settings and you’re done!
We decided on these place settings from World Tableware’s Farmhouse Collection. They are rustic, bright, and simple — exactly the style we were going for!
We hope this helped you and your table out this Thanksgiving!!
